STAGE 7 : BENICHAB - AMODJAR

The Sahara in All Its Glory
Sand, dunes, and challenging navigation to Amodjar.

The next day, the rally heads to Amodjar, near Atar, for a stage as eagerly anticipated as it is feared. Sand, dunes, demanding navigation, and intense heat – everything the participants came for! A massive dune cordon awaits competitors right at the start of the special stage as they leave Benichab, before transitioning to fast tracks leading to the railway used by the world's longest train.

Then, the second part of the timed section will challenge them with another impressive dune cordon.

We congratulate AFRICA ECO RACE for their support AMADE and enabling Mauritanian and Senegalese students to have access to solar lamps. A child with light at home, is a child able to do his homework when night comes.

For us as service-team, the AER feels like going on a road-trip with the whole family ! Together we follow the ancient African trails. Together with the complete organization of the AER we give it all to bring our teams to the legendary Lac Rose ! Being true fans of the AER we enjoy the whole concept as you find in no other race, as one of our SSV pilots reminded me, there is only one real race to Dakar !
