THE RAID EVOLVES

Two ways to experience the adventure. One shared spirit. A natural progression — from discovery travel to full racing, for those who choose to take it further.

The Africa Eco Race is evolving its Raid format to offer experiences tailored to every profile: clearer, more immersive, and designed to match every level of adventure.

Starting in 2027, the Raid will be available in two formats: Raid Traveler and Raid Evolution.

Registrations open: May 15.

Raid Travel

Discover. Travel. Fully enjoy the adventure.

A guided, structured and secure format, supported by experienced professionals.

Ideal as a first step into the world of rally-raid, combining travel, enjoyment, and discovery of the discipline.

Raid Evolution

Challenge yourself. Navigate. Fully commit.

A fully immersive experience, with the same requirements and obligations as a race competitor — except there is no timing and no ranking.
Access is subject to approval by the organization, with a minimum level of experience required. An Evolution participant may switch to the Traveler format for one or several days in case of fatigue or difficulty.

A natural pathway to racing

These two formats are designed as a natural progression: from a discovery journey with Traveler, to a structured learning path leading toward full competition for those who wish to take the next step.

Everyone chooses their level of commitment, at their own pace, according to their profile and ambitions.
